HOW TO DECORATE A RED WAGON FOR A WEDDING

Red wagons are more and more becoming a traditional accessory used in many weddings across the country. They are used for many purposes from carrying the flowers, ring bearer, or is used as just a beautiful accessory to the entourage. Regardless of the purpose, decorating a red wagon for a wedding should be kept simple.

1) If it is to be used for flowers, you should fill it with appropriate colored flower petals to match the wedding color scheme. White or appropriate colored ribbons and lace attached with double stick tape on all 4 corners would look fabulous.

2) If it is to be used to transport the ring bearer, make sure to place an appropriate colored pillow in the bottom to avoid the ring bearer being uncomfortable. The last thing you want is for a young ring bearer telling you his butt hurts coming down the isle. Again white or appropriate colored ribbons and lace attached with double stick tape on all 4 corners would look great.

3) If it is to be used as a wedding accessory, let your imagination go wild. Think of how you and your soon husband-to-be met or a special place you both have a connection to and try to implement that into the design of your red wagon. If you both love nature walks fill it with multicolored leaves and flowers. If you both have gardening in common you could fill the wagon with dirt and plant flowers with some beautiful ground cover or fill it will small pebbles and plant miniature trees or plants. If you have a funny story of how you met don't be afraid to create your wagon around that story. I promise your wedding will be remembered of how much fun it was because of it.
